Exploring Body Trust and Divesting from Diet Culture

This group is designed for adults who want to explore their unique body story, the foundations of Body Trust, and the practice of embodiment within an 8-week group therapy program. All bodies are welcome!

​This group will explore:

● Deconstructing and healing body shame

● Exploring your body story and understanding the foundations of Body Trust®

● Unpacking the harmful messaging of diet culture

● Neutralizing your experience with food and eating

● Exploring embodiment and pleasure

The building is wheelchair accessible, with a ramped entrance and elevators to the second floor. Seating in the group room includes open-sided chairs, as well as a sofa option, to support accessibility needs.

Meet your facilitators
Courtney is a mental health therapist who supports adults, with a special interest in divesting from diet culture. Cara-Joy is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who supports adults, with a special interest in working with folks in larger bodies. We aim to be 2SLGBTQA+ allied, anti-racist and trauma informed.

Two-Spirit Group - Walking in 2 Worlds at Indigenous Psychological Services

This circle is an inclusive gathering of Two-Spirit individuals who navigate the intersection of spiritual and cultural realms. We come together to share our journeys, offer support, and deepen our understanding of what it means to walk between worlds. Our circle thrives on the shared experiences that link and expand knowledge of the Two-Spirit experience, celebrating profound roles within cultures and spiritual practices. 

This group is covered by FNIHB, IRS, and Insurance. 
Space is limited to 10 participants. 

Runs online Wednesdays 10am-noon MST.
February 5, 2025 for 6 weeks.

Join us for a paint-night with body-safe ceramics (mug or dildo) while learning more about the world of polyamory, relationships, sex and intimacy. We provide the fun, safe, and sex-positive environment - you just show up! Open to individuals 18 years and older. Come solo or bring a friend or partner(s)!
