Lower-Cost Options
If the cost of therapy is prohibitive to you, here are a few suggestions:
1. Working with one of my supervisees
At any given time, Susan Larcombe is usually supervising at least one:
● Masters of Counselling or Psychology student through their university practicum
● Provisional Psychologist (someone who has their degree and is working towards licensure)
My supervisees are all at different stages of their professional development and have various strengths, interests, and experiences in working with clients. If paying full fees for psychological services is prohibitive to you, I invite you to reach out to me to see if one of them would be a good fit.
Most of the larger psychology practices in the Edmonton area also offer services through a practicum student or other pre-licensed professionals. Calling around may provide you with options that are affordable for your budget.
